Process of company registration in Belgium
1. Confirm the company name and type;
2. Provide guidance on providing relevant registration information and notarization;
3. Organize the registration information;
4. The company registration can be completed in about 15 working days, and a full set of documents including the company business license can be obtained.
Conditions for company registration in Belgium
1. Company shareholders: at least 1 founder, no requirement for the founder's residence, shareholders can also serve as directors;
2. Company directors: at least 1, not necessarily a Belgian resident, but it is better to appoint a Belgian resident board of directors;
3. Registered capital: minimum 18,550 euros (paid) for a limited liability company, 61,500 euros for a joint stock company;
4. Registered address: 1 local valid registered address is required;
5. When opening a capital verification account: each director needs to go to a Belgian bank for an interview. Therefore, at this stage, it is required to have a nominal director to assist the company in opening a capital verification account;
6. Apply for a VAT number and draft articles of association.
II. Documents required for company registration in Belgium:
1. Name of the Belgian company;
2. Business scope of the company;
3. Passports of shareholders and directors (must be authenticated by the embassy);
4. Articles of association (need to be notarized by a legal notary);
5. Proof of residential address (such as electricity bill, bank statement, etc.);
6. Three-year business development plan (please ask a Belgian lawyer to write it);
7. Financial plan (must be written by a Belgian accountant).
